A national report has put Louisiana 49th out of the 50 states when it comes to higher education.
The study, which measured categories such as college preparation in high schools to college affordability and graduation rates, gave the state a host of low grades.
The California-based National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, who released the study on Wednesday, listed Nevada in 50th while Louisiana finished in virtual dead lock with Alaska in 48th.
