A body found underneath a pile of debris in New Orleans' lower Ninth Ward Thursday afternoon may be yet another Hurricane Katrina victim, city police said.

Authorities said the body was so badly decomposed that they could not identify or even determine the race or gender of the victim.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine cause of death.

Some of the worst flooding after the storm occurred in the lower Ninth Ward, which is adjacent to the Industrial Canal.
