Tangipahoa Parish officials said Sunday no emergency services will be available south of Highway 22 after 4 a.m. Monday.

All assisted evacuation in the parish will end at 6 p.m. Sunday in advance of Hurricane Gustav, and pet evacuations will end at 10 p.m. Those bringing pets after 10 p.m. will be turned away.

A curfew will begin at 10 p.m. Sunday and lasts until 5 a.m. in all areas south of Highway 22 as well as in Ponchatoula, Amite, Kentwood, Roseland, Independence, Tangipahoa and Tickfaw.

Hammond will not be under a curfew.
