English muffins (preferably whole wheat), halved
½ cup marinara sauce (preferably low sodium, low fat)
8 thin slices of Canadian bacon
½ cup shredded 2% mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven
to 350 degrees.
Place English muffin halves on a cookie sheet. Spread marinara sauce over
each half, and top each with 2 slices of Canadian bacon and 2 tbsp shredded
cheese. Be creative! You can also add sliced olives, turkey pepperoni,
mushrooms, sliced onions, peppers, etc. if you want!
Bake approximately 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
