Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients:
¾
cup
Brummel and Brown (or any trans- and saturated-free spread)
¾ cup ground flaxseed
1 ½ cups fructose
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp salt (optional)
3 cups oats, uncooked
Heat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, beat butter-style spread and
fructose until creamy. Blend in flaxseed. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Add combined whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well.
Add oats; mix well.
Spray cookie sheet pan with non-stick spray. Spread cookie mixture to cover entire sheet pan.
Bake 7-10 minutes, until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered.
