Call Police

Vehicle thefts should be reported as soon as possible. Before the vehicle can be listed as stolen, gather your license plate number and the vehicle identification number (known as the VIN number).

If You Find The Vehicle:

To preserve possible evidence, do not touch or move your vehicle. You should call the police to report the recovery. If you fail to do so, your car will continue to be listed as stolen.
