For the last three years, I have been teaching a packed out Christmas Savings Workshop and I promise, this year will be event better! Check out my Events Page for more details and how you can reserve your spot in this year's Black Friday Tips & Christmas Savings Workshop!

Want a few tips right now? Yep, I thought you would. Here are three ways you can start saving money right now:

1. Earn Points: Start earning points and redeeming them for gift cards. There are TONS of point sites out there right now but my favorite is Swagbucks. Start earning points by searching and redeeming offers and pay for your Christmas gifts using the gift cards you earn. I do this every single year and pick up tons of toys and other items without ever spending a dime!

2. Start Locating Coupons: Now is the time to grab the Entertainment Book, call the customer service number for retail stores or sign up for newsletters. Seek after retail coupons in the same way you would seek after grocery coupons. Go straight to the source and find out what kind of deals they offer!

3. Stalk Amazon.com: You will notice a huge increase in deal posts starting next month through December and much of those being from Amazon.com. Amazon has major price drops. SO, here's how it's done...choose the items you want to purchase and put them in your 'shopping cart,' check that cart every single day and see if one or more of your items has a price drop. There is no rhyme or reason, you might see it drop drastically or just a little. It's a gamble but when it gets low enough, buy the item before the price goes up. I save about 50% or more on toys each year because of this. Many times, you can beat Black Friday prices this way too.

So, when I say 'stalk' Amazon.com, I mean, pitch a tent and move in. You've got to watch it like a hawk but it will pay off.

There are many different ways to cut your Christmas spending without actually having to cut buying the items themselves. Be sure to check out my upcoming workshops or stay tuned...the hot deal posting is about to begin!
