Have you ever walked into a store and realized the sale item you were looking for is already gone? It is so frustrating. The good news is that many stores will actually offer rainchecks. Rainchecks simply 'hold' the sale price for you until the item comes back in stock. Then, the next week you are in the store, you can use your raincheck and many times use your coupons too. You still get the great sale from last week because you asked for a raincheck!

See how simple that is? If you're not sure if your store offers rainchecks, simply ask at the Customer Service counter. I have heard several stores stopped issuing rainchecks recently but not all stores. If you live in a town with a ton of couponers, you'll find the raincheck method will work well. This is because, if the sale starts and the shelves are already cleared, you can get a raincheck and get that same deal next week. It's all about strategy, folks.
