NOTE: This is a repost, I just wanted to throw this back up there for those of you who plan to do some carving this weekend:
My son spotted pumpkins at Walmart yesterday which then began the whole discussion....
Son: "Mom, I want a pumpkin."
Me: "We don't need a pumpkin right now it will get yucky."
Son: "If it gets yucky, we'll buy a new one."
Me: "You mean I will buy a new one."
Son: "Yes, you said you save money. You can buy one."
Me: "What will we do with a pumpkin?"
Son: "We will carve it."
Me: "You mean I will carve it."
Son: "Yep."
Me: "Ok."
He later decided to actually put the pumkin back which is pretty surprising as we usually end up with a ton of pumpkins this time of year. But, when the urge strikes him again, at least we'll have a few free pumpkin carving templates to help us out...or me out, that is. Enjoy!
