Need a spa night on a budget? Try out these homemade pampering treatments, made from items likely found in your own pantry:

Facial Cleanser

Ingredients:
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp powdered almonds
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Instructions: Combine the honey, almonds and lemon juice and make a paste. Rub it on your face, then rinse with warm water.

Nail Whitener Recipes

Ingredients:
1 denture tablet
1 cup warm water

Instructions: Drop denture tablet in bowl of warm water. Let dissolve. Soak hands in bowl for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Foot Scrub

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of lotion

Instructions: Mix sugar and lotion in a container. Apply the mixture to your feet and use as an exfoliant. Rinse feet with clean water.

Sometimes it’s just not possible to get a pedicure or a fancy spa treatment, that doesn’t mean you have to do without though. I love homemade treatments, plus I can add or subtract ingredients to make each one the way I like it.  Also, make sure to check out Princess Brandi’s Homemade Body Scrub. I make this for myself all the time and give it as gifts, try it once and you'll be addicted!
