Skip the expensive wrapping paper! Have fun creating your own gift wrap with reusable items from around your home and it will just cost pennies a package. Have odd-shaped small items to wrap? Put them in an old tennis or Pringles can. I covered mine with a grocery sack and glued on spots I punched out of holiday catalogs.
One of my boys colored a picture in a Christmas coloring book for me to use as gift wrap on a small box. You'll notice the blue gift. I put some more small items in a plastic fried onion ring container and wrapped it with some of my left-over mesh ribbon. Then just tied it with a wire bow.
The simplest gift wrap in the bunch is the newspaper I decorated with a tree I cut out of another holiday catalog. I topped it with a tulle ribbon bow.
So easy!
I also love to decorate presents with homemade stamps--stamps cut out of potatoes using holiday cookie cutters. Be sure to watch the video demonstration:TulsaCW.com: TV To Talk About | The Tulsa CW
