Have you seen the burlap wreaths for sale for $25, $45 even $69?!!?  You know I wouldn't pay that! It is so easy for me to make one for less than $10 and they make great gifts too.

Supplies:

  • Burlap ribbon (use your 40% off hobby shop coupon on this item if it's not already on sale)
  • Wire wreath frame
  • Wire
  • Wire cutters

Directions:

First, I secured the end of the ribbon to a portion of the wire frame with the wire.

Then, I just wove the fabric through the wire frame.  Poof up the ribbon as much or as little as you like.  I wove in and out of the spaces and twisted the ribbon to make loops go in different directions, fluffed them.

Add a contrasting ribbon to hang the wreath.  I added my initial to personalize it.  Just have fun with it to make it your own.
