It's that time of year, time to organize the house! This morning on the news, we talked about creating a binder not for coupons but for papers & certificates related to your home. I have a coupon binder, a child ID kit and now and home kit.
3 Ring Binder
Paper Protectors (or scrapbook paper covers)
Copies of all important documents
Directions: Simply insert your documents such as copies of passports, social security cards, insurance policies, birth certificates, etc into the paper protectors. Organize those in your binder using category dividers if necessary. Then, be sure to store your binder in a very secure location.
This works out well if you have an emergency too, you can grab your binder and all of your information is right there. I've had to take my oldest son to the hospital multiple times and it's nice to have all of his medical history copied and organized so I can grab my binder and simply hand it off if needed.
