On the news this morning I was cooking in the kitchen with Chef Joseph Stone of Charleston's. He made a great Gulf Shrimp Saute which is actually not bad price-wise either. Shrimp is on sale right now and this dish is pretty easy to make at home.

{Gulf Shrimp Saute}
Shrimp Sauce 3 oz.
Shrimp (med) 8 pieces
Blackening Seasoning - lightly season shrimp before cooking
Red Bell Pepper 1 1/2 oz.
Green Bell Pepper 1 oz.
Asparagus tips 1 1/2 oz.
Cooked Pasta (Fettuccine or linguini are best) 8 oz.
Fresh pesto 1 TBSP
Directions:
Ladle shrimp sauce in pan and saute shrimp. Add pepper/asparagus mixture before shrimp are done. Do not overcook shrimp Add portion of pasta. Dissolve pesto into the noodles
Place pasta on plate first and top with shrimp/vegetable mixture.
YUMMY!
