'Do you really think I won't shoot?' - juvenile carjacker threatens teen

A teenage girl who said she was the victim posted on Nextdoor to alert people to the incident. She described the carjackers as "two very young boys with hoodies tied tightly around their heads."

NEW ORLEANS – As a 19-year-old woman sat in her car waiting to pick up her younger brother from school Wednesday, she probably didn’t think much of the two young men who were walking nearby.

Madison Schumacher said she was off work Wednesday and was asked to pick up her brother after his classes at Holy Cross School in Gentilly.

Schumacher said the two approached her car when the one who appeared to be the youngest came up and flashed a gun at her, demanding that she get out of the vehicle, which happened to belong to her boyfriend.
