HARVEY - A three-alarm fire at the Pull A Part auto parts store on Peters Road, filled the sky over Harvey with black smoke Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 2:30 p.m.in the 4400 block of Peters Road, according to Fire Captain Michael McAuliffe.
Chief McAuliffe said the fire was brought under control after about an hour. He said crews poured foam on top of the scene due to concerns over vehicle fluids igniting and causing the fire to escalate.
McAuliffe said there were no injuries.
