NEW ORLEANS – Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto says a woman suffered minor injuries after her vehicle struck an unmarked JPSO vehicle during a chase, causing the deputy's vehicle to flip over.
The I-10 eastbound off-ramp to the South Carrollton Avenue was closed as authorities worked to clear the scene.
Lopinto said the deputy was not hurt. The driver of the vehicle being pursued was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
