THIBODAUX, La. — Deputies say one man was wounded after an early morning shooting in Thibodaux Friday.
According to Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre, the shooting happened in the 2000 block of St. Mary Street before 3:39 a.m. The man was transported to Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and transferred to University Hospital in New Orleans.
Investigators have not released any additional information about this shooting at this time.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Crimestoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
