NEW ORLEANS -- Dirty birds for Thanksgiving Dinner? According to the New Orleans Advocate, that's what's on the menu.

The season opener is reportedly at home this year, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

More games are expected to be announced by the team throughout the day. The entire schedule will be released by the NFL Thursday night. The Saints are expected to have several national TV night games.

The Saints currently have one of the toughest schedules for 2018 in projections that are largely based on last year's records.

The Saints face Philadelphia, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and the Rams along with two games each against Carolina and Atlanta, meaning 8 total games against 2017 playoff teams.
