Dr. Brobson Lutz
Dr. Brobson Lutz keeps viewers informed about the latest health trends.  He has been practicing medicine in New Orleans for 21 years, and served as Director of the New Orleans Health Department for 13 years.  Dr. Lutz is an expert in internal medicine and infectious disease.  Watch Dr. Lutz on the Eyewitness Morning News on Mondays.


Dr. Michael Wasserman, Pediatrician
Viewers call-in to the Eyewitness Morning News to ask Dr. Michael Wasserman questions about their children’s health.  During the live segment, he explains the best treatment for kids, even if it means a trip to the doctor’s office. Dr. Wasserman is a native of New Orleans. He received his degree in medicine from Tulane University in 1977. In the course of his training, Dr. Wasserman has also lived in New York, Boston, Nashville, and Memphis. Watch Dr. Wasserman every other Tuesday on Channel 4.


Mackie Shilstone
Mackie Shilstone is a leading sports performance expert.  He has trained scores of world class athletes, and helped them reach professional success.  Each week, he shows WWL-TV’s Meg Farris how to exercise, stretch, and build strength to create a healthy lifestyle.  Join them on Wednesdays on the Eyewitness Morning News to learn about fitness programs that could benefit you.

Dan Gill
On Thursdays, Dan Gill brings viewers gardening information in reports that take him out of the studio, and he answers callers’ questions in a live call-in segment on the Eyewitness Morning News.  Dan is a horticulturist who works to educate the public through several different programs at the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center.

Debbie Pearson
Debbie Pearson makes weekly appearances on the Eyewitness Morning News to introduce viewers to animals from the Audubon Zoological Gardens. In her position as Director of Visitor Programs at the zoo, Debbie develops outreach and education programs.  Debbie is also a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, and is active in rescuing animals in the community.  Debbie has been appearing on the Eyewitness Morning News for more than 15 years.



Better Business Bureau

Cynthia Albert
Cynthia Albert appears on the Eyewitness Morning News once a month, bringing consumer information, alerts about bad business, and other information to viewers.  Mrs. Albert has worked at the Better Business Bureau since 1965.  Through the years her responsibilities grew, and she was appointed to her current post as Director of Operations in 1989.  In that position, Mrs. Albert is responsible for training new employees and developing and disseminating information on firms locally and nationally. Watch Cynthia Albert’s reports on the second Thursday of each month.



M O V I E   C R I T I C

Alfred Richard
Each month, Alfred Richard gives viewers a preview of the latest movies coming to theaters.  His movie reviews let viewers know which films they might want to check out, and which ones they may want to skip.  Alfred is employed by New Orleans Public Schools, and anchors the system’s programming on its cable access channel.  He is also an avid moviegoer.  Hear Alfred Richard’s reviews once a month on the Eyewitness Morning News.


L A G N I A P P E   L I V E

Keith Spera
Each Friday, Keith Spera talks to Eric Paulsen about musical highlights in the New Orleans area.  Together, they preview musicians who will be performing in the upcoming week.  Keith has written about New Orleans and Louisiana music for 10 years, and is currently a music writer for the Times Picayune’s weekly Lagniappe section.
