BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police say man has been killed when he was struck by a car while trying to cross Airline Highway.
Police say in a news release that the accident happened just after midnight Saturday.
The man was identified as 50-year-old Roderick Woods of Plaquemine.
This crash is still under investigation.
The news release says that the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperating with officers in the investigation.
