BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) — Police say a 27-year-old Bay St. Louis woman accused in the recent biting of a child has been arrested on two counts of felony child abuse involving that child and another she allegedly bit more than two years ago.
Detective Lt. Robert O'Neal tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/YSkqa7 ) Kacey Nicole Whitney is suspected of leaving a bite mark on a 7-year-old child recently and biting a 4-year-old child a number of times in 2010.
O'Neal says police were investigating the recent complaint when they found a similar complaint filed against Whitney on Nov. 12, 2010.
Police arrested Whitney on Friday. Municipal Judge George Lipscomb Jr. set her bonds at $40,000.
Whitney posted bond and was released from jail.
It was unclear whether Whitney has an attorney.
