HARVEY, La. – A 53-year-old man was found shot to death in the back of a home around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said Donal Bates was shot several times and was discovered in a home in the 2200 block of Eastmere Drive.
Investigators discovered the missing white 2001 Ford work van that was taken from Bates’ residence but has not recovered it. They believe the license plates had been change to a La. plate with the numbers KFB934 or NFV949. The vehicle has the words ‘Handyman 24/7’ on one side and the cell phone number 782-5844 on the other side.
