NEW ORLEANS -- An accident caused heavy delays during the Wednesday afternoon commute on Airline Highway.
Trooper Melissa Matey, a spokeswoman for State Police, said a car cut across traffic, hitting two other vehicles.
Matey said there were only minor injuries.
Former Eyewitness News sports reporter Scott Cody sent in a picture of the accident, which you can see above. He said the accident caused a massive traffic jam westbound on US 61.
