NEW ORLEANS -- The Sewerage & Water Board’s customer service center in Algiers is unable to process cash payments because of damage to the building during last week’s storms.
Residents can make cash payments at the Main Office at 625 St. Joseph St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at payment centers in the area.
Residents will still be able to open and close accounts, request for extensions, review account information and make payments with a check or money order.
The office, which suffered roof damage, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily at 4001 Gen. DeGaulle Dr.
