NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans music legend Allen Toussaint became the eighth musician to get a lifesize bronze statue in a park on Bourbon Street dedicated to the city's musical greats.

You can see the statue for yourself at the Musical Legends Park.

Toussaint joins other local icons Al Hirt, Fats Domino, Pete Fountain, Ronnie Kole, Louis Prima, Chris Owens and Irma Thomas.

This is just another honor for Allen Toussaint, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
