NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Archbishop Gregory Aymond says retired archbishops Philip Hannan and Francis Schulte suffered medical setbacks recently, and is requesting prayers.

The archbishop says Hannan was hospitalized twice in the past week for low blood pressure and a series of small strokes.

Hannan is recovering at his home, and is able to walk on his own.

Archbishop Schulte suffered two falls and is resting in an assisted living facility in Philadelphia.

Cards and well-wishes can be sent to archbishops Hannan and Schulte at 7887 Walmsley Ave., New Orleans, Louisiana 70125.
