KENNER, La. -- Kenner officials are moving garbage pickup a day forward in anticipation of heavy traffic during the Saints and Vikings game on Thursday.
Garbage will be picked up during a special, one-time change on Wednesday in Kenner.
Normally following a holiday, the garbage collection day is pushed back to Thursday, the next collection day. But officials say the anticipated increase in traffic caused by the Saints game forced officials to make the move.
