KENNER, La. -- Police in Kenner recovered a body Wednesday in the Mississippi River, according to the East Jefferson Levee Police.
A spokesperson said the body was found near 3rd Street and Coleman Place around 1:15 p.m.
Officials haven't announced any information on the identity of the body.
The cause of death won't be released until an autopsy is completed.
