LAPLACE, La. - The boil water advisory for LaPlace residents has been lifted as of 1 pm Thursday, according to a parish spokesperson.
The order was in effect after a water main rupture that could have compromised the quality of the water in areas of the parish.
Tests by the Louisiana Dept. of Health and Hospitals were negative for contaminants and parish officials say residents can resume normal usage.
