NEW ORLEANS -- The Old Absinthe House employee who was allegedly shoved by Cuba Gooding Jr. has dropped charges against the actor, according to the French Quarter business.

The bar says they will continue investigating the alleged incident.

Before the bartender dropped the charges, she had told police that Gooding shoved her after she tried to calm him down. She said Gooding had become irate after customers recognized him and starting asking for pictures.

An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday, and New Orleans police say they met with Gooding Wednesday morning and issued a court summons, but that was before the employee dropped the charges.
