KENNER, La. -- Eyewitness News has learned that OSHA is investigating an accident that happened at an Armstrong International Airport construction site Thursday.
The Texas-based company, Satterfield and Pontikas, confirmed two of its construction cranes bumped each other yesterday. They were being used to build the airport's new consolidated rental car facility.
No one was hurt and there was no structural damage, but the company took the cranes offline today to inspect the equipment and try to figure out what went wrong.
The $72-million facility is expected to open later this year.
