NEW ORLEANS --The NOPD has issued an arrest warrant for actor Cuba Gooding Jr. after he allegedly pushed a bartender twice in a French Quarter business early Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in the 200 block of Bourbon Street.
Police say a female bartender told them that Gooding came into the bar with a group of people and became agitated as customers started asking to take photos.
Police say the bartender told them she approached Gooding and asked him to calm down, at which point he pushed her and a co-worker called 911.
When the bartender informed Gooding that police were on the way, he allegedly pushed her again.
Police say that they are in contact with Gooding's attorney, and Gooding is taking the necessary actions to address the matter.
He is wanted on charges of municipal battery.
