NEW ORLEANS -- Jefferson Parish deputies have made two arrests in connection with the shooting of more than 150 car windows this month in Marrero, according to Sheriff Newell Normand.
Deputies have Christopher Flanagan, 19, and Dacotah Hamilton, 20, in custody.
More than 160 car windows were shot out in the Oak Forest, Oak Knoll and Hillcrest subdivisions south of Ames Boulevard on both sides of Barataria Boulevard.
Normand said Flanagan and Hamilton confessed to shooting out the vehicles on three separate days, on Dec. 11, Dec. 18 and Dec. 24.
Detectives were able to find the same vehicle seen in the footage in the 1700 block of Robin Drive, Normand said.
Deputies recovered a CO2 BB pistol inside the home that Flanagan said he used to shoot the windows.
Normand said deputies also found CO2 cartridges and 50 to 100 BB pellets on the floorboard of Flanagan's Ford Escape.
Flanagan and Hamilton were rebooked on an additional 82 counts of criminal damage. They are still in custody at the JPCC booked with a total of 124 criminal damage charges, and their bond is now set at $227,000, according to the JPSO.
