MARRERO, La. - Yellow balloons released into the sky marked the two year disappearance of Shane Fell Sunday. Family and gathered near the spot where he was last seen to pray for his safe return.

“My brother I love you, I want you home too,” said Fell’s brother, Brett.

“Something's missing. And until he comes back, it doesn't get better, some people may say it gets better, not in this case. It doesn't get better,” said Fell’s mother, Terrie.

Fell vanished after his care flipped on River Road in Marrero. He asked his brother over the phone to pick him up, but by the time his brother got here, Fell was gone.

“It's a nightmare that you keep waking up to,” said Terrie Fell.

Fell left his car and a single shoe at the crash site. His family believes he may have hit his head, triggering amnesia.

“If he knew who he was he would be here. if he doesn't know who he is hopefully someone may see him or see a resemblance and say hey let's go check this out,” said Terrie Fell.

Fell's family said another missing person's case hits close to home. Crews found missing teacher Terrilynn Monette's car this weekend in Bayou St. John with a body inside. Fell’s mother said she is glad Monette’s family got some answers, and is hoping for answers, too.

“She gets to take her baby home. I just want to know where mine is,” said Terrie Fell, who has spoken with Monette’s  mother, Toni Enclade, in the past.

Fell's family said they'll keep searching until they have answers and until they find Fell.

“Shane if you're out there, we love you, we miss you and we can't wait for you to come home,” said Brett Fell.

If you have any information that could lead detectives to Shane Fell, call the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office at (504) 364-5300 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111. There is a $10,000 reward.
