PINEVILLE, La. – Firefighters found the body of a Pineville resident inside of a burning home Monday afternoon, and they’re investigating the case as a homicide.
The fire happened at 120 Wayne Street at about 12 p.m.
Firefighters say they found the victim inside the home. The cause of death is unknown, though officials have named the death a homicide.
The victim hasn’t been identified and the cause of the fire is unknown.
