NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Fire Department is looking into what sparked a fire in the St. Claude neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

The fire broke out just before 2 p.m. at a home in the 1700 block of Port Street and quickly shot up to two alarms before firefighters were able to get it under control.

Fortunately everyone inside was able to get out of the home before it was fully engulfed in the flames.

With several cold nights ahead, the Red Cross is helping the family find a place to stay.
