METAIRIE, La. - Convoys began on the Causeway Bridge Wednesday morning due to the low visibility from fog.
The left northbound lane was closed around 6 a.m. and the speed limit was restricted to 35 MPH.
Convoys began on the southbound bridge around 6:30 a.m.
Visibility stood at 1/4 of a mile around 7:30 a.m.
By 8 a.m., the convoy ended.
