ST. BERNARD PARISH- The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office says after just two weeks all four suspects wanted for a May robbery in Arabi are now in police custody.

A spokesman for the Sheriff’s office says 29-year old Kevin Smith was arrested in Marrero, on Friday, by U.S. Marshalls. Smith was tranported for Jefferson to St. Bernarn Parish.

Smith was the last suspected wanted for the robbery of a pay-day loan office on May 31, 2014. Officials say three men, wearing masks and carrying guns, entered the business in the 7500 block of West Judge Perez Drive demanding money. They also robbed several  customers. The suspects then took off in a vehicle driven by a fourth suspect.

Sheriff's detectives worked with U.S. Marshals, and area police and sheriff's officers to locate and arrest the robbery suspects. Also in custody:  Mario O. Westbrook, 37-years-old;  Rodrick Natteel, 36-year-old; and Kendrick Wells, 36-years-old. Westbrook is being held in New Orleans. Nattell and Wells are both being held in St. Bernard Parish in lieu of bonds set at $200,000 each.
