NEW ORLEANS — The Saints will be without their starting safeties tonight against the Cowboys, one of the league’s more prolific passing offenses.
But there’s good news, too. Both inside linebackers – Curtis Lofton and David Hawthorne – are active after being listed as questionable this week.
Lofton missed Friday’s practice with an ankle injury, something that wasn’t a problem earlier in the week. Hawthorne didn’t practice all week with a toe injury.
Harper hasn’t played since a Week 2 win at Tampa Bay. Jenkins injured his right knee against Buffalo in the second quarter and hasn’t played sicne.
Receiver Marques Colston, limited all week, is active. Right guard Jahri Evans, who didn’t practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday and Friday, also is active with a hip injury.
Meanwhile, defensive Cameron Jordan missed two days before being limited Friday with a right ankle injury, is active.
Tight end Jimmy Graham and running back Darren Sproles both are active.
Ryan Griffin, Khiry Robinson, Terron Armstead and Rod Sweeting are healthy scratches
