NEW ORLEANS La. – The developer for the proposed Habana Outpost in the French Quarter has withdrawn his current plan and will submit a new plan to the Vieux Carre Commission.
The New Orleans City Council took up the ongoing controversy over a proposed new French Quarter restaurant, Habana Outpost, Thursday.
The developer says he is trying to work with opponents of the project, in order to address some of their concerns, so that they can come to some sort of agreement.
Councilmember Kristen Gisleson Palmer says the developer has withdrawn his current plan, and will submit a new one to the Vieux Carre Commission.
