NEW ORLEANS -- A hearing scheduled Thursday in the Marigny shooting case of a teenager has been postponed.
Merritt Landry is accused of shooting a 14-year-old boy spotted on his property last month.
Landry told police the teen was standing by his car when he allegedly felt threatened. He fired one shot and hit 14-year-old Marshall Coulter in the head.
He remains in critical condition.
Landry is facing an attempted second-degree murder charge. He's due back in court on Sept. 20.
