NEW ORLEANS -- A historic building on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard is getting a breath of new life.
A dedication ceremony took place Tuesday at the Franz Building.
The Good Work Network purchased the 100-year-old building back in 2008 to provide office and retail space for small minority and female-owned businesses.
The new development is expected to act as a hub for the business community. It will also include a bakery.
The redevelopment of the Franz Building cost an estimated $2 million dollars.
