HOUMA -- A Houma man was shot and killed late Saturday night near the intersection of Eliza and Levron streets in Houma.
Frederick M. Teague, 43, was shot one time in the stomach just before 11 p.m, police said.
He was taken by Acadian Ambulence to Terrebonne General Medical Center where he later died from his wound.
Houma Police dectectives found empty shell casings on the street at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing. Houma Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call 873-6371.
