JEFFERSON, La. -- Several agencies across the metro area are giving New Year's Eve revelers another option when it comes to getting home.
In St. Bernard Parish, deputies are offering residents a ride home with their 29th annual Holiday Ride Home Program.
The office will bring home any parish resident who has been drinking, no questions asked. Just call 504-271-2501 and a deputy will come pick you up.
In Jefferson Parish, the sheriff's office is also offering free taxi rides to residents who have been drinking. Authorities say to call 911 and a taxi will come and pick you up.
If residents in Slidell need a safe ride home, all you have to do is call the police department at 985-643-3131.
