BELLE CHASSE, La. – Plaquemines Parish deputies arrested a man who allegedly molested and raped an 8-year-old, according to authorities.
Major John F. Marie, a spokesman for the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office, said detectives spoke with the victim. She claims that 38-year-old Jonathan Wilson committed several acts of sexual abuse when she was a child, and he conceived a child with her when she was a juvenile.
Marie said the victim claims Wilson first molested the victim when she was 8 years old.
Wilson was arrested Monday on two counts of aggravated rape, one count of sexual battery and one count of forcible rape. He’s currently being held without bond.
