NEW ORLEANS – A man was shot to death in the Seventh Ward Sunday night around 9 p.m., according to the NOPD.
Spokesman Garry Flot said officers were responding to a call of a shooting in the 2100 block of North Roman when they found the victim lying in the road with several gunshot wounds. Investigators said narcotics were found near the victim’s body.
Emergency units responded, but the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
