NEW ORLEANS -- The people of New Orleans are about to get a new venue to enjoy what they like best -- eating and watching sports.
Manning's Restaurant is officially opening up to the public on Thursday. But we got a sneak peak inside.
The restaurant, located downtown at 519 Fulton Street, is designed with rotating memorabilia from New Orleans' first family of football, the Mannings.
"I've been here 40 years. I think New Orleanians, I know they love food, and I believe I found out they love sports, so I think we've got a good combination here," said former Saint Archie Manning. "I think we can provide a great deal of entertainment with the way we've done the restaurant, our TVs for sporting events and so forth, but also have to have good food and service, and we plan to do that."
The restaurant also has a sports anchor desk and more than 30 flat screen televisions showing the top sporting events.
