St. John Parish Sheriff’s deputies are trying to find the identity of a man whose body was found by a boater near Ruddock Thursday night.
Investigators said the boater found the body on I-55 about two miles north of the Ruddock exit.
The victim is described as 5’6” tall with three tattoos, including praying hands on his left forearm, a deck of cards with dollar signs on his right forearm and a Fleur de Lis with a Saints logo on his upper right arm.
The sheriff's office identified the man as 32-year-old Ron Jefferson of Montz. Investigators are not sure what killed him, but are looking at it as a homicide.
