METAIRIE, La. — The same four players who sat out the Saints’ first practice of the week missed the second day, giving them precious little time to improve enough to play in New Orleans’ Sunday showdown with Atlanta.

Running back Darren Sproles (left hand) and receiver Courtney Roby (left shoulder) haven’t practiced since sustaining their injuries in the Oct. 28 game against Denver.

Defensive end Junior Galette (left ankle) and right tackle Zach Strief (left groin) both were injured in Monday night’s win over Philadelphia.
